Community Organizations

  • Rochester Refugee Resettlement Services
    Collaborating to provide services and opportunities to ensure assimilation of refugees into our society by providing assistance as they strive to be self-sustaining neighbors while still maintaining their own cultural heritage.
    All of the organizations listed on this site are in great need of volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering, there are links for contacting each organization on their respective pages.
  • Nativity Preparatory Academy
    Nativity Preparatory Academy is a Roman Catholic middle school designed for highly self-motivated, economically disadvantaged students whose potential for academic success has been compromised by negative social and economic factors affecting them and their families.
  • Notre Dame Learning Center
    The Notre Dame Learning Center was established in 2004 to address the needs of Rochester children having difficulty in school.
  • CP Rochester
    CP Rochester exists to support people with physical and developmental disabilities in choosing and accomplishing successive, individualized life goals. We do this by providing a wide range of services to people of all ages in the greater Rochester area including clinical, educational, residential, and recreational programs.
  • Community Food Cupboard
    This web site is dedicated to the supporting our efforts in feeding the poor, elderly and homebound of Northeast Rochester and Irondequoit. Each month, we deliver food to more than 300 poor elderly and homebound clients including many grandparents raising grandchildren. We also provide needed food to the hungry on an emergency basis who come to our facility on Nester Street.

    The Quad A for Kids mission is to promote the personal and social development of our City of Rochester youth.

  • ArtPeace, Inc.
    ArtPeace, Inc. is a 501(c3) not-for-profit organization founded in Rochester , NY that cultivates positive living and working. We are transforming education and creating social change by developing strengths in underserved youth and adults, through the integration of arts, recreation, technology and entrepreneurship.
